Berakah Eco Quad Trail: An Unforgettable Quad Biking Weekend

This past weekend, we put our new quad trailer to the test at the Berakah Eco Trail. The experience turned out to be one of the most thrilling quad adventures we've had in South Africa!

The Trail Begins

The trail is perfect for riders of all skill levels. The first major obstacle, a low log bridge, is relatively easy but sets the tone for the challenges ahead. After a quick break, we continued along the track, tackling more technical sections that required precision and focus.

Highlights of the Day

One of the most memorable moments was meeting riders on Honda FourTrax 250s. Watching them climb steep hills was impressive, and soon we reached an even more challenging rocky ascent. Riding the Rustler quad in low range made the climb manageable, and the views from the top were breathtaking.

Standing up on the quad during bumpy sections helped absorb shocks and made the ride smoother, adding to the overall excitement.

A Variety of Landscapes

The trail winds through different terrains, including dense forest areas and rocky climbs. One of the most daunting obstacles was a three-meter-high wooden log bridge, challenging both skill and nerves.

The final downhill section was the most thrilling: a five-meter-high slide into a stream followed by an eight-meter climb on the opposite side. Holding on tight while sliding down the washboard surface was a true adrenaline rush!

Final Thoughts

Berakah Eco Trail offers an unforgettable quad biking experience. We’re already planning our next trip between Christmas and New Year. Remember to bring plenty of water — the trail can get hot and dusty, especially on longer rides.
